Singer songwriter Didicazli had a humble beginning in the Singapore Malay music scene. Most of the time with his guitar by his side, pen and paper, Didi writes on real life experiences, be it his or of the people around him. Music for him began as a passion that soon became his life. He was not from any talentime competition or television reality shows. His rise in the music industry was the hard way up, one step at a time, falling, getting up again only to fall and up again. Didi believed that with passion, determination and songs that are sincere, his dream will be realized. And true enough it was realized and he is living his dream
His journey in the commercial music scene began after a heartwarming Ramadhan morning in 2005 when his mother was in tears of joy after listening for the 1st time to the song entitled “Jasa Ibu” that he composed specially to express his appreciation and love for his mother. Didi’s journey in music began with his mother’s prayers and his gradual success in Singapore’s music industry came from his sincere songs that earned a place in the hearts of listeners with the much appreciated support from Singapore radio Ria 89.7fm and Warna 94.2fm.
Through hard work, determination, passion and from his current humble achievements, Didicazli is now with Luncai Emas Sdn Bhd and has been given the opportunity to be an understudy of his idol, M Nasir in music. He has also been given the opportunity to collaborate with Sony BMG Music for the distribution of his songs.
His achievements includes, winning awards for "Most Popular Singapore Song" from Anugerah Planet Muzik in 2007 for song "Dambaan" and 2008 for song "Seribu Kenangan" that was number 1 in the radio charts for 6 weeks. He was also nominated for "Most Popular Singapore Artist" for 07' and 08'. Aside from music, in March 08’, Didi was given his debut acting role in Mediacorp Television Suria 6 episode drama “Atas Heights”
